How to do Wide Legged Forward Fold

Today's practice involves exploring Wide-Legged Standing Forward Fold (Prasarita Padottanasana).

This pose offers a lovely stretch to our hamstrings, calves, low back, spine and hips. This posture can create more strength and stability in our low body and core muscles. This sweet little inversion encourages more blood flow to our heads, which can help calm the nervous system.

Optional Items: a yoga block or a thick book.
