About Rachel
Yoga is a beautiful heart-centered practice, that invites us to turn towards the mind, heart, body and spirit with compassionate curiosity.
Yoga has been at the heart of my healing journey.
Yoga has offered the tools and strategies to help me mindfully peel back the layers of my being so that I could recognize, feel, appreciate and process the sensations that were showing up in my mind and body as chronic pain, anxiety and panic.
Showing up on my mat consistently deepened my connection to my breath and communicated messages of safety to my mind and body. I explored what it meant to listen to my body and how my inner dialogue influences how I feel physically, emotionally, mentally and energetically. I discovered what self-compassion felt like for the first time on my mat as tears rolled down my face. I had no idea how much emotion I was storing in my body until I experienced that sweet release of physical, mental and emotional tension. I am eternally grateful for my practice and for all the life lessons that have blossomed from my time spent on the mat.
Yoga is a beautiful heart-centered practice, that invites us to turn towards the mind, heart, body and spirit with compassionate curiosity. Through the tools of yoga, we can learn to meet ourselves with compassion instead of judgment and criticism. We can learn to treat ourselves the same way that we would treat a friend, with kindness, support and love. We can learn to approach thoughts, feelings and sensations felt in the body with curiosity and interest.
The yoga practices and programs that I offer encourage mindfulness, self-care practices, play, self-inquiry, compassion, gratitude, and so much more.
I offer free yoga and meditation practices on YouTube, as well as courses through Udemy.
I look forward to connecting with you soon!
With love,
~Rachel xoxo
