10 Minute Meditation For Self Love

Welcome to your 10 minute guided meditation practice for self-love. If you are reading this, I invite you to give yourself a hug or place your left hand on your heart space. Breathe in. Breathe out. Kindly repeat the following in your head or say it out loud: “I am love.” Repeat this affirmation as many times as you would like. This affirmation can help open up the heart chakra, awakening acceptance and unconditional love towards self and others.

This guided meditation practice encourages you to reflect upon your understanding of self-love. We explore self-love affirmations, and we end our practice with a visualization technique.

Choosing to meditate is an example of self-love as you spend time tending to your inner ecosystem.

Throughout this practice, I invite you to pay attention to your inner dialogue. What words are coming to mind? What messages are you telling yourself? Do you see any patterns? How can you reframe your thoughts to be more loving and kind?

Finally, self-love is a practice. It is something that may not come easily. It may not feel natural. Perhaps it feels a little icky or selfish. Well, I am here to tell you that self-love is a gift; it is a gift to your mind, body and spirit.
