Today’s heart opening yoga flow offers an invitation to open our hearts to receive. And what we receive will differ from person to person. Perhaps you take a moment to consider what you are open to. What are you open to receiving? It’s all good if you don’t have an answer or if this doesn’t resonate with you. As always, I simply extend an invitation to go inward and reflect.
Heart opening yoga flows are fantastic for a number of reasons. First off, heart openers give us the opportunity to stretch the chest, shoulders and abdomen. Heart openers can help strengthen the back body. Heart opening yoga poses encourage spinal extension, which is very important for overall spinal health. Finally, heart openers are said to release emotions.
I invite you to come to today’s practice with an open mind and an open heart. Trust the process. Embrace the journey. And see what happens!
