Yoga For A Strong Foundation

Welcome to Day 1 of our 7 Day Yoga Challenge! Thank you for choosing to be here, and I hope that you are feeling super pumped up for yet another epic yoga challenge!

Today’s practice is about building a strong foundation. Consider the importance of having a strong foundation when building a home. Or perhaps establishing a strong foundation in your relationships with yourself and others. A strong foundation can serve us well on our mats as we explore various postures and grow our practice.

Our class today focuses on exploring our foot-to-earth connection; how our feet connect with the ground beneath us. From there, we see how the base impacts other areas of our body. The base can explain some of our body patterns, and perhaps even some of the aches and pains we experience throughout our days. After all, it is all connected.

Our class focuses on movements and yoga postures that strengthen the feet, legs, hips and glute muscles.

We relax and unwind with some gentle stretches at the end of our practice.

It is my hope that you enjoy today’s yoga flow.
