7 Day Yoga Challenge Day 5 - Lower Body Stretch

In Day 5 of our 7 Day Yoga Challenge, we engage in gentle lower body stretches with particular attention to the hips and hamstrings.

Many individuals state that their hips and hamstrings feel “tight” or “stiff.” This can be due to lifestyle or due to the nature of your job. If you have a desk job, then you may experience tightness in these two areas.

This class stretches and strengthens the hips and hamstrings.

The calves, ankles, feet and toes receive a gentle stretch as well throughout our class.

In addition to this, Day 5 is a great class to favorite if you are a runner and/or if you are on your feet for most of your day.

You can use this class for your post-run stretch and/or when your legs and feet feel tired.

This practice can help bring some energy to these areas and assist in the recovery period.
