Yoga For Relaxation and Stress Relief
Join Yoga with Rachel on the mat for a Yoga for Relaxation and Stress Relief practice.
We begin our practice with breathwork. We play around with elongating our exhalations to elicit a relaxation response.
We stay low to the ground as we explore gentle and grounding yoga postures.
We make use of props to support us in our practice, allowing us to hold the poses with more ease.
Our practice ends with a full body scan. We scan the body for any remaining areas of tension. We bring awareness to these areas, and use the breath to help us release that tension.
This practice is intended to help you relax and de-stress, letting go of anything that isn’t serving you well in the present moment.
It is my hope that this class serves you well.
