Yoga for Anxiety & Stress Relief

Today’s practice is all about tending to the physical, mental and emotional bodies through using breathing techniques and movements intended to help calm the nervous system down.

We all have our moments, days, weeks, etc. where we are feeling stressed out, anxious and overwhelmed. Please know that you are not alone and that it is okay to feel this way! I hope that this practice serves you well. Feel free to take what works for you and leave what doesn’t. If you find that a specific movement relaxes your mind and body, then I encourage you to try this movement off the mat whenever feelings of anxiety and/or stress emerge. It is my hope that you are able to find some relief by the end of our practice together.

Feel free to bring along a blanket or a towel. In addition, feel free to wear something ultra comfy, light a candle and bring a glass of water with you.
