Heart Chakra Yoga - Yoga for Beginners

Welcome to your Heart Chakra Yoga Flow. In this beginner yoga flow, we explore postures that bring awareness to the heart chakra.

The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest.

The heart chakra is about opening your heart to feel more love, compassion and understanding. This chakra relates to your relationships with yourself, others and the world.

When there is a block or if this chakra becomes unbalanced, you may find yourself feeling unworthy of love. Perhaps fear or self-doubt starts to seep in.

One way to bring about balance to the heart chakra is through heart opening yoga postures and affirmations.

In today’s class, I invite you to use one of the following affirmations:
“I am loved.”
“I am worthy of love.”
“My heart is centered and open.”

Feel free to use the affirmation(s) that resonates with you most or you can create your own! Let’s open our hearts so that way we are better able to receive love and give love to others.
