Stretch It Out! Yogi Squat!

Today we get nice and low to the ground in a low squat or malasana.

This pose is exceptional for opening up tight hips. Plus, it helps to strengthen and stretch out the feet, ankles and the back body.

This posture is said to help out with digestion, balance and concentration.

Optional Item:
You can bring a blanket or a towel along with ya to the practice. You can place a folded up blanket or a towel under your heels if they lift away from the earth. No worries if these items are not available to you, as you can always just allow your heels to lift away from the mat.
