Mountain Pose: Test Your Foundation & Balance
Today, we test out our foundation and balance by standing on a wobbly surface.
We start this practice off in Mountain Pose to check in with our foundation. We then play around with shifting our weight to the tops of our feet, to the right, back to our heels and then over to the left. We then test our balance by dipping our toes in “water” as we draw a semicircle with our toes. We conclude this practice by stepping off our mats and taking some time to notice how we feel standing on even ground.
Required Item: a yoga mat or something that you can fold over several times to create a more wobbly surface.
